Although the primary purpose of the Guild is to promote and enjoy the art of quilting with each other, we encourage community service through donations of projects and supplies. As a guild, we support various charities for members to partner with us. Our Guild schedules Community Service sew days check the calendar for the next Community Service Sew Day.
Meals on wheels
Quilted placemats are distributed to Meals on Wheels recipients. The size for placemats are 12″ x 18″. We have several Community Service Sew Days throughout the year. Guild Goal for Placemats is 100. We have passed our 2023/24 goal. We have made 102, Thank you ladies.
Paulding county sheriff’s dept.
Lap quilts donated to the Paulding County Sheriff’s Department are placed in Police and Fire Service vehicles. These quilts are distributed on site in emergency situations. Paulding County Sheriff’s Dept. (quilts min size 36″ X 36″, preferred 42″ X 42″ and larger, recipients from children to adults). Guild Goal for Quilts is 50. We have passed our 2023/24 goal. We have made 61 quilts. Yay you go ladies!!

Handmade standard size pillowcases are collected for Amedisys Hospice and Children’s Hospital. Guild Goal for Pillowcases is 180. Come on Ladies we need more pillowcases.

Twin and Full sized quilts are donated to Shepherd’s Rest Ministries for use by the residents.

Spread some kindness, make some quilted hearts and leave them in on your local outings or trips. You never know when someone needs that quilted heart!
Guild Donations
Donations of clean, 100% cotton fabric, sewing equipment and notions are accepted by the Guild for members to use in the making of charity items. Donations may also be placed in the annual fundraising efforts.
